The halcyon days of the late 70s. Life was grand with no worry about the future and everyone was where they were supposed to be. Using my dad’s Sekonic 8mm Zoom 8 camera that he purchased in Japan while on a Navy cruise around the world in the 60s; I along with several of my friends made these bizarre films that had little rhyme or reason. I’ve since done a bit of editing and created something more coherent along with added sound. I hope you enjoy!
The Pressure Cooker is a short video I created to pay homage to a film we were shown when I was in Junior High back in the mid ’70s. I only watched the film once but I remember bits and pieces of the intro scene. I believe the premise was to depict how hectic and fast paced life can be in the USA.
